Danger!
Risk of explosion caused by
fuel vapors igniting, risk of
poisoning caused by inhaling
combustible gases and risk of
injury caused by burns during
and after operation of heater unit
Do not operate stationary heater,
auxiliary heater or engine with
heater booster in closed areas or
when refueling. Allow heater unit
to cool down after operation and
wear protective gloves.

Remove auxiliary heater

Remove bolts (1)

Take off cover (2)

Detach retaining ring (3)

Release and remove cover (4)

Remove bolt (5)

Release auxiliary heater control
unit (6) and pull out

Unplug electrical connector (7)

Detach sealing rubber (8) from
opening of glow plug (9)
Installation: Check sealing
rubber (8), replace if necessary.

Unscrew glow plug (9)
Glow plug (9) can only be
unscrewed using special wrench.
Special wrench is supplied with
new glow plug (9).

Install in the reverse order

Perform a function test
Check heating effect.
