Unscrew bolt (19) from outer
door handle (18)

Slide outer door handle (18) to
right and remove

 Installation: Insert outer door

handle (18) and slide to left until
the catches arrest on the inside

Drill out rivets (16)

 Drill with dia. 4.8 mm bit

 Installation: Observe

installation position of tapping
plate (12). Check adjustment of

 Correct if necessary.

Mask model plate (1) with
adhesive tape (2)

 

 

Cleaning

Clean tailgate in area of model
plate (1)

Heat tailgate in area of model
plate (1)

 With radiant heater to approx.

30 ° C.

Install assembly template (4) on
tailgate

 Align assembly template (4)

on contours of tailgate.

 

 

 

 Assembly template (4) is

delivered together with new part

Remove carrier foil (3) from
model plate (1)

 Model plates (1) should

remain fastened on the adhesive
tape (2)

Align model plate (1) on
assembly template (4) and press
on

Remove adhesive tape (2)
