Remove/Install

Switch off roof air conditioning

 See Operating Instructions

Remove cover (1) of air
conditioning system control (2)

 Unclip cover (1) on both

sides.

 

3

Unclip fuse carrier (3) on the roof
air conditioning control (2)

 Unclip fuse carrier (3) on both

sides.

 

4

Detach cap (4) of the fuse to be
removed (5) from fuse carrier (3)

Pull fuse to be removed (5) out of
the fuse carrier (3)

 

 

6

Install in the reverse order

Remove/Install

or severed by doors, covers,
flaps or by loose components

Keep body parts well clear when
moving doors, covers, flaps and
components. Wear protective
gloves and protective shoes.

Move bench seat forward

Remove bolts (1)

Pull fuse box (3) out of seat belt
support (2)

 

 

4

Disconnect electrical couplings
(4) from the fuse box (3)

 

 

5

Install in the reverse order

 

 

6

Perform function check

 of all electrical components

which are fused via the fuse box
(3) (see operator's manual).

engine compartment

Remove cover of switched-mode
power supply (1)

Remove cover (3) from fuse box

Unscrew nuts of electrical lines
(4)

Lift up electrical lines (4) slightly

 Avoid short circuit due to

ground contact of electrical lines
(4) and as a result destruction of
electrical components.

Remove web-type fuse of
switched-mode power supply (5)

 

 

9

Install in the reverse order

Open engine hood

Remove cover (1) from the fuse
box

Unscrew nuts of electrical lines

Lift up electrical lines (2) slightly

 Avoid short circuit due to

ground contact of electrical lines
(2) and as a result the
destruction of electrical
components.

Remove web-type fuse (3)

Install in the reverse order

electronics (2)

 Inquiry concerning customer-

specific adjustments (see
operator's manual).

Remove front center interior
lamp (E74)

 Unclip front center interior

lamp (E74) from paneling (1) on
both sides (arrows).

 

 

 

 Mounting wedge

110 589 03 59 00

Unlock central electronics (2) on
both sides

 Insert suitable drift in the side

assembly openings (3).

 

4

Remove central electronics (2)

 Press the central electronics

(2) out of the paneling (1)
through the opening in the front
center interior lamp (E74).

Unlock the electrical coupling (4)
