Impatti e azioni per l’operatore

Per assicurare livelli corretti di emissione sui motori T4 normati da EPA e CARB, è stato pensato un sistema di controllo emissioni gas

inquinanti che si attiva quando si veriÐ cano gli avvisi relativi alle emissioni. I seguenti eventi attivano una spia di avvertimento:

• Livello additivo DEF basso

• Qualità insu ciente dell'additivo DEF

• Elementi difettosi del post-trattamento

Nel caso che si veriÐca un controllo emissioni gas inquinanti nuovo entro 40 ore di funzionamento del motore, i periodi ridotti di controllo

emissioni gas inquinanti sono attivati.

Gli operatori devono:

- controllare regolarmente l'indicatore DEF per assicurarsi che sia ad un livello

To ensure proper Tier 4 emission levels and to comply with the EPA and CARB regulations it has been implemented an inducement strategy

that will activate when emission related warnings occur. The following occurrences will trigger a warning indicator light:

• Low DEF Additive

• Insu cient DEF Additive Quality

• Faulty Elements of the Aftertreatment

In the case that inducement occurs again within 40 hours of engine operation, shortened inducement periods are activated.

Operators must:

- regularly check the gauge to make sure the DEF additive is at a proper level or

Gevolgen en handelingen voor de operator
