Таким образом, внедрение иммунологических методов в кардиологию

позволило получить новые чрезвычайно важные данные, подтверждаю

щие роль воспаления и аутоиммунных реакций в развитии атеросклеро

тического поражения сосудов и его осложнений. Это создает реальные

предпосылки для более точной оценки прогноза при атеросклерозе, а

также для разработки новых подходов к его профилактике и лечению.
