- 105 - the bucket and exert downward pressure on it slightly. Close the parking brake and shutdown the engine. 1. Remove oil drain plug in gearbox to discharge oil remained. 2. Replace filtering element. Refer to “Gearbox Oil” in Maintenance after 50-Hour Running-in of New Loaders. 3. Dismount oil suction pipe and drain pan assembly from box body, and dismount support plate assembly from the drain pan assembly. 4. Take off magnet on the support plate assembly and clean it with a clean stiff brush or compressed air. 5. Clean oil suction pipe, support plate assembly and drain pan. Replace the support plate assembly if filter screen is damaged. 6. Reinstall the magnet onto support plate assembly. 7. Reinstall the support plate assembly onto drain pan. Check the gasket and replace it if damaged. 8. Reinstall drain pan assembly, tighten screws and then install oil suction pipe. 9. Clean and install oil drain plug into gearbox. 10. Add oil to gearbox through the filler. Refer to Viscosity and Filling Limit of Working Oils. 11. Replace the air release valve on the top of gearbox with a new one. 12. Start engine and apply brake. 13. Slowly operate gearbox control lever with the engine idling to circulate oil. Place gearbox control lever on neutral position. 14. Keep the oil at specified level, and add oil through filler if necessary. 15. Shut down engine. Gimbal of driving shaft 1. Fill lithium-based lubricant into the grease fitting of the gimbal of middle shaft. 2. Fill lithium-based lubricant into the grease fitting of the gimbal of forward shaft. 3. Fill lithium-based lubricant into the grease fitting of the gimbal of fork of rear driving shaft. 4. Fill lithium-based lubricant into the grease fitting of the gimbal of rear driving shaft.
