Среди пациентов было 84 женщины, 31 мужчина, средний возраст

больных составлял 39 лет. У 3 пациентов катастрофический АФС развил

ся в возрасте до 16 лет, у 9 — в возрасте старше 60 лет. В целом катастро

фический АФС развился на фоне первичного АФС у 46% пациентов, у

40% — на фоне вторичного АФС, связанного с СКВ.

Установлено, что основным фактором, связанным с развитием катаст

рофического АФС, является инфекция, признаки которой отмечены у 30

пациентов. Следующим по значению фактором были хирургические опе

рации. Реже развитие катастрофического АФС было связано с отменой

антикоагулянтов или приемом некоторых лекарственных препаратов.
