>> Repair or replace harness between door mirror (driver side) and IPDM E/R.

Check driver side door mirror defogger.

>> Replace door mirror (driver side). Refer to 

MIR-39, "Removal and Installation"

Turn ignition switch OFF.

Disconnect door mirror (driver side) connector.

Check continuity between door mirror terminals.

Check that the heating wire of passenger side door mirror defogger is heated when turning the rear window
defogger switch ON.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Passenger side door mirror defogger is OK.

NO

>> Refer to

Diagnosis Procedure

1.

CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT 

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Disconnect door mirror (passenger side) connector. 

3.

Turn ignition switch ON.

4.

Check voltage between door mirror (passenger side) connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 2.

NO

>> GO TO 3.

2.

CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Check continuity between door mirror (passenger side) connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 4.

NO

>> Repair or replace harness between door mirror (passenger side) and ground.

3.

CHECK DOOR MIRROR HARNESS CONTINUITY

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Disconnect IPDM E/R connector. 

3.

Check continuity between door mirror (passenger side) connector and IPDM E/R.

4.

Check continuity between door mirror (passenger side) connector and ground.
