Refill compressor oil

 Before filling in refrigerant,

replace drained amount of
compressor oil with new
compressor oil. The specified
total filling capacity must not be

Check air conditioning for proper
function

 Switch roof air conditioning

on and off and check all
component functions relevant to
the function of the roof air
conditioning (see operator's
manual).

Inspect air conditioning system
for leaks with leak detector

 In view of the fact that the

refrigerant is heavier than air, the
check with the probe of the leak
tester must always be carried out
below the suspected leakage

Remove side ventilation grilles
(2)

 All ventilation grilles (2).

 

 

 

 Installation: Observe

installation position of ventilation
grilles (2).

Drill mounting holes on both
sides of A/C housing (arrow)

 Hole diameter Ø 16 mm.

 

 

 

 Installation: Close holes with

sealant.

 

 

 

 Core drill Ø 16 up to 30.5 mm

Unlatch tabs on lower part of
blower housing cover (1)

 Avoid high tractive or

compressive forces to prevent
breakage on blower housing.

 

 

 

 Unlatching through the

mounting holes using a
sufficiently long screwdriver.

Remove blower housing cover
(1)

 Installation: Ensure that the

rubber mounts (4) of the blower
motor (3) are properly seated in
the blower housing cover (1).

Slightly rotate blower motor (3) in
A/C housing

 Until the electrical connectors

(5) are accessible.

Write down installation position
of electrical connectors (5)

Detach electrical connectors (5)
from blower motor (3)

Remove blower motor (3)

 Installation: Ensure that the

rubber mounts (4) are properly
seated on the blower motor (3).

Install in the reverse order

 

 

13

Perform a function test

 Switch roof air conditioning

on, off (see operator's manual).

Remove tie strap

 Remove in area of wiring

harness (1) from condenser fan
(2).

Disconnect electrical connector

Separate electrical lines from
wiring harness (1) of condenser
fan (2)

 Separate the electrical line

approx. 5 cm in front of the
electrical coupling (3).

 

 

 

 Installation: Connect

electrical lines of new condenser
fan (2) with electrical coupling (3)
via solder connector.

Remove bolts (4).

Remove condenser fan (2)

Install in the reverse order

Perform a function test

 Switch roof air conditioning

on, off (see operator's manual).
