CHECK FUNCTION

With CONSULT-III

Check “DOOR LOCK” in Active test mode with CONSULT-III.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Door lock actuator is OK.

NO

>> Refer to 

DLK-599, "DRIVER SIDE : Diagnosis Procedure"

.

CHECK OUTPUT SIGNAL

Check voltage between BCM connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> GO TO 3.

NO

>> GO TO 2.

2.

CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR CIRCUIT

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Disconnect BCM and front door lock actuator (driver side) connector.

3.

Check continuity between BCM connector and front door lock actuator (driver side) connector. 

4.

Check continuity between BCM connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Check intermittent incident. Refer to 

GI-39, "Intermittent Incident"

.

NO

>> Repair or replace harness.

Check door lock actuator. 
Refer to

.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Check intermittent incident. Refer to 

GI-39, "Intermittent Incident"

.

NO

>> Replace door lock actuator. Refer to 

DLK-255, "DOOR LOCK : Exploded View"

 and 

DLK-255,

"DOOR LOCK : Removal and Installation"

. After that, 

PWC-15, "POWER WINDOW MAIN

SWITCH : Special Repair Requirement"

CHECK FRONT DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR (DRIVER SIDE)

Check the actuator operation by connecting the battery voltage to front door lock actuator (driver side).

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Front door lock actuator (driver side) is OK.

NO

>> Replace front door lock actuator (driver side). Refer to 

DLK-255, "DOOR LOCK : Removal and

Installation"

. After that, 

PWC-15, "POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH : Special Repair Require-

ment"

.

NO

CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR CIRCUIT

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

2.

Disconnect BCM and front door lock actuator (passenger side) connector.

3.

Check continuity between BCM connector and front door lock actuator (passenger side) connector. 

4.

Check continuity between BCM connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Check intermittent incident. Refer to 

GI-39, "Intermittent Incident"

.

NO

>> Repair or replace harness.

CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR

Check door lock actuator. 
Refer to 

DLK-601, "PASSENGER SIDE : Component Inspection"

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Check intermittent incident. Refer to 

GI-39, "Intermittent Incident"

NO

>> Replace door lock actuator. Refer to 

DLK-255, "DOOR LOCK : Exploded View"

 and

.

CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR CIRCUIT

1.

Turn ignition switch OFF.

Disconnect BCM and rear door lock actuator (LH) connector.

3.

Check continuity between BCM connector and rear door lock actuator (LH) connector. 

4.

Check continuity between BCM connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

>> Check intermittent incident. Refer to 

GI-39, "Intermittent Incident"

.

NO

>> Repair or replace harness.

CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR

Check door lock actuator.
