Open circuit in wire harness between GAUGE fuse
and meter.

Temporarily install another circuit plate.
Is operation normal?

Is bulb OK?

Replace bulb.
Then recheck system.

Disconnect connector ”D” from meter.
Inspect connector on wire harness side as follows.

Connect connector ”D” to meter.

Disconnect connector ”C” from meter.

Turn ignition switch ON.

Does engine oil level warning light light up after

approximately 40 secs.?

Turn ignition switch ON.
Is there battery positive voltage between terminal
D3 and ground?

Inspect connector on wire harness side as follows.

HINT : While carrying out the following inspection, make certain that the connectors and terminals are properly con-
nected.

Turn ignition switch ON.
Is there battery positive voltage between terminals
xx and ground with the turn signal lever to left and
right?

Yes

Abnormal operation or warning light
does not light up.

Turn signal indicator signal circuit faulty.
Inspect the turn signal and hazard warning light
system.

Replace circuit plate. Then recheck system.

Abnormal operation or indicator does

Inspect the wire harness between terminal D6 of
meter and ABS & TRAC ECU or inspect ABS &
TRAC ECU.

Replace circuit plate. Then recheck system.

Disconnect connector ”D” from meter.
Inspect connector on wire harness side as follows.

Is bulb OK?

Replace circuit plate. Then recheck system.

Replace the bulb. Then recheck system.
