33. Remove the intake manifold. 

Discard the intake manifold gaskets.

34. Inspect the intake manifold and throttle body for damage.  

Installation 

1. Clean all the sealing surfaces.  

2. Install the intake manifold. 

Position the new intake manifold gaskets.  

Position the intake manifold.  

Loosely install nine bolts.  

CAUTION: Do not use metal scrapers, power abrasive discs or any 

abrasive means to clean the sealing surfaces, these tools 
cause scratches and gouges that make leak paths. Use a 
plastic scraper only.
