CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT 

2. Remove center pillar lower garnish molding. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Garnish 

Molding Replacement.

Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Cover

Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Screw 

Tighten: 2 N.m (18 lb in) 

NOTE:

Refer to Fastener Notice .

Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Assembly 
Tip: 

1. Remove seat belt D-ring from the adjuster assembly.  

2. Pull garnish molding toward inside of the vehicle to disengage the 

retainers.  

3. Align 4-way locator to center pillar before engaging retainers.  

Tighten: 35 N.m (25 lb ft)

BODY LOCK PILLAR TRIM REPLACEMENT (CREW CAB)

Preliminary Procedures 

1. Remove front door sill plate. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement 

(Regular Cab/Crew Cab) or Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement (Extended 
Cab).  

2. Remove rear door sill plate. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement 

(Extended Cab) or Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement (Crew Cab).

Center Pillar Lower Garnish Molding Assembly 
Tip: 

Ensure seat belt webbing does not become trapped during installation.  

Tab to be fully seated and installed prior to retainer.

1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .  

2. Remove rear side door sill plate. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement 

(Regular Cab/Crew Cab) or Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement (Extended 
Cab).  

3. Remove rear window lower molding. Refer to Rear Window Lower Garnish 

Molding Replacement (Regular Cab) or Rear Window Lower Garnish Molding 
Replacement (Ext Cab/Crew Cab w/A48) or Rear Window Lower Garnish 
Molding Replacement (Ext Cab/Crew Cab w/o A48).
